A scary incident where a young 14-year old girl was abducted by a man in Los Angeles, CA before forcing her inside a bathroom and raping her, was all caught on surveillance video.
The man can be seen with his arm draped around the young girl as they walk down Klamath Street near El Sereno Park on Tuesday.
The man was identified as Edward William Banks, 27, by police officials.
He threatened the girl with a weapon and forced her into a bathroom, where she was sexually assaulted.
He then fled but was arrested later that night and booked on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping to commit rape.
Banks’ bail has been set at $1 million.
The disturbing case comes as soft-on-crime LA District Attorney George Gascón, whose woke policies have been blamed for rising crime in the city and surrounding areas, has faced mounting criticism over his progressive directives to reform prosecutions.
On Monday, backers of the campaign to recall Gascón said, “We intend to file an injunction against the county registrar as we review the thousands of signatures he declared invalid.”
Dean Logan, the county’s registrar-recorder, in August determined the effort to oust Gascón fell short of meeting the required 566,857 signatures because nearly 90,000 of them were not registered to vote and roughly 45,000 were duplicates.
You guys keep talking about being soft on crime. What do you suggest government do to harder on crime and criminals? I will tell you what I know. There’s nothing anyone can do about crime. It will only increase as time goes on. THIS IS A SPIRITUAL THING. EVIL IS PRESENT ON EVERY HAND AND ONLY A SPIRITUAL APPLICATION INITIATED BY SPIRITUAL PEOPLE PRAYING TO GOD FOR HIS INTERVENTION. TOO BAD THERE ORE ONLY A FEW OF THESE PEOPLE IN THIS EVIL ERA.
You are so correct.. This is spiritual warfare. Time is running out….
Evil prevails when good men do nothing! This creep in the past would never even think of doing something like this because he would be wishing the police would get to him before someone else did. Our host society has lost it with this woke movement internet fake phony media failing education system! The man should have never made it to the police
Amen!
I agree that prayer is needed. However criminals need to be prosecuted and incarcerated. Not set loose to commit more crimes.
We cannot prevent all crimes no doubt, but we CAN have tougher laws, tougher penalties, and keep bad guys off the street.
Just like how the Biden Administration wants to release all prisoners in jail for “personal use” of marijuana. Have you ever known anybody tat served actual hard time for simply using weed? No, NOBODY goes to jail for that and never have. Anybody in jail for “personal use” plead down to that lesser charge, they are ALL in jail for committing a worse offense. This is the kind of stuff the government has FULL control of.
And yes, lots of prayer; however, God blessed us with memory, reason, and skill…and the ability to make our own decisions. That comes with serious responsibility.
Prayer will not help. Hitler put alot of people to death in his gas chambers and no amount of prayer helped them, zero. He had his people perform experiment’s on children because he wanted to create a master race. Hitler was pure evil. So why didnt god stop him. Can anyone prove god even physically exists, that would be no, no one can prove it because god is just a myth, a belief. All those people who died when those 2 planes slammed into the world trade center towers, prayer didnt help them either. All the money you are putting on the collection plate at church just supports the church. The preacher is living off of your money without doing jack squat. Its like people keep getting screwed when they vote democrat and go back and vote for a Democrat again. Stupid people never learn from their mistakes. $5 gas and 9% inflation, Bidens recipe for a recession.
I agree with prayer being the first line to change the harden hearts to be changed to follow God’s law and teaching. There have been evil people since the start on civilization, Cain killed Abel, but there need to consequences to one’s action against the laws of our country. My opinion is for the U.S.A. to find an island miles of the coast of main land and put this people on the island to survive with food and water being supplied 3 times a week, survival of the fittest with video being played across all T.V. networks as a warning to have people he is convicted of violent crimes will spend there time.
Island prison… excellent idea!!
