Not much information is known about a terrible crash that claimed the driver’s life and left the passenger currently clinging to life.
The crash was the horrific consequence of a speeding vehicle after it crashed into a guardrail in the middle of the roadway and then careened into a tree in Queens early Sunday.
According to an officer at the scene, “The 20-year old man was traveling in a 2007 Honda Accord at a very high rate of speed. He was driving northbound on the Clearview Expressway when he lost control and smashed into the center guardrail at 2:18 a.m. near exit 4.”
“The vehicle then veered across all lanes of travel to the right shoulder where it struck a tree at the location,” the officer continued.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene near 73rd Avenue.
His passenger, a man in his 20s, was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital with head and body trauma and is listed in critical condition.
Officers reported that there is no other information at this time and the identities of the victims are to remain undisclosed until further evidence is collected.
What has happened to good journalism? Aren’t these articles reviewed by editors before being published? “The identities of the victims are to remain ‘disclosed’… really? Shouldn’t that say “undisclosed”?
Most of these articles appear to have been written by 5th graders. Grammar and spelling are terrible!
It is undisclosed. Read it again. It is better to read it twice or 3 times before you have to make some good comments.
