A mother in Georgia is being accused of murder after taking her 3-year old daughter along with another child into the freezing woods after she used drugs.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, Uriha Ridge, 35, took drugs before wandering into the woods near Foxhall Resort in Douglasville at midnight on January 16th with her 3-year old daughter and a 7-year old child.
Officers responded to Ridge’s call for help the next morning at 11:51 a.m. and located her and her children in the woods near the resort with the help of two employees.
Ridge told authorities she had gotten lost in the woods. However, the Sheriff’s office statement revealed that Ridge’s phone was fully charged and operating when they found her.
“The children were soaking wet when we found them. They were minimally clothed out in below freezing temperatures overnight. It had also rained for more than 11 hours,” an officer explained.
All three parties were taken to a nearby hospital where Ridge’s 3-year-old daughter, who has been identified as Alina, sadly passed away. The condition of her 7-year-old sibling is still unknown at this time.
Ridge is currently charged with felony murder, two counts of first-degree cruelty to children and two counts of second-degree cruelty to children.

People like this are the reason that Georgia’s electoral votes were stolen from Trump back in 2020. Absolutely disgraceful!
