Talking about diving into the deep end!
In Naples, Florida, a 20-year-old woman named Allyssia Razo attempted to evade law enforcement after being discovered engaging in inappropriate behavior on a public pier on Monday afternoon.
Despite her attempt to flee by diving into the water, Razo was promptly apprehended by beach patrol upon reaching the shore.
The Naples Police Department responded to multiple reports around 4:30 p.m. on Memorial Day, indicating that a man and woman were observed engaging in sexual activity behind the locked gate of the historic pier, amidst the bustling holiday activities.
Upon arrival, officers found Razo and 23-year-old Zadok Westfield still in the act.
Despite commands to remain, Razo jumped into the water as officers approached, while Westfield remained at the scene.
He explained to officers that their original intention was to swim to the end of the pier and jump off, but they became engaged in sexual activity instead.
A witness, who was at the beach near the pier with her four children aged 7 to 15, reported observing Razo and Westfield naked in the public area, prompting uncomfortable questions from her minors about their behavior.
Both Razo and Westfield were charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace.
Additionally, Razo faced an additional charge of resisting arrest without violence.
They were both taken into custody and released on bond the same day.
