Authorities in Indiana have been on a relentless two-week search for Bryson Muir, the 14-year-old son of former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Daniel Muir, who has mysteriously vanished.
The Indiana State Police issued a Silver Alert on Friday for Bryson, who was last seen on June 16th being driven away from his grandmother’s home in Ohio by his mother. Alarmingly, when local police stopped the vehicle minutes later, Bryson was missing.
A chilling new development includes a photograph reportedly showing Bryson with a blackened and swollen eye, prompting authorities to investigate his parents, Daniel and Kristin Muir.
Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing about 185 pounds, Bryson is considered in immediate danger. He was last seen in an orange Under Armour shirt and blue jeans. Both parents are now persons of interest in this disturbing case.
In a puzzling twist, the Muirs initially agreed to bring Bryson to meet with detectives at the Indiana State Police headquarters, but backed out an hour before, raising suspicions about their willingness to cooperate.
The Muirs reside in Logansport on land owned by Straitway Truth Ministries, a Tennessee-based religious sect. The group, described by some as a cult, claims to be a “nation of Hebrew Israelites” dedicated to obedience to Yah and Jesus Christ.
Former NFL players, including Green Bay Packers legend Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, have reportedly joined this group after renouncing their Christian faith.
Daniel Muir’s NFL career began in 2008 with the Indianapolis Colts, followed by stints with the New York Jets (2012-2013) and the Oakland Raiders (2013-2014). Now, he finds himself at the center of a distressing investigation as authorities race against time to find his missing son.
