A mansion in Hollywood Hills, California that was recently listed for sale has been taken over by squatters, who threw parties and rented the home to OnlyFans models.
Emily Randall Smith, a real estate agent working with the homeowners, said she and her husband went to the house to stage the seven-bedroom property for a January open house, but the lockbox was cut off and a new mailbox was put up.
After Smith realized someone had illegally occupied the property, she called the authorities. When the police arrived the man living there refused to leave, so the couple waited for the squatter to leave on his own and contacted the authorities again.
Upon returning to the home, the police were greeted by a woman, who told them the surprising circumstances of her living situation.
“She was renting from the guy who was like the whole ringleader of the thing,” Randall Smith said. “She was hired to do OnlyFans content in there, so it was a little eerie and weird. Cause when we went in there, you could tell that there was like some weird stuff going on in there.”
After authorities escorted the woman out of the home, Smith and her husband found the squatters had made themselves at home.
“They had fully moved in there. They had suitcases, bags. They had food in the fridge, food cooked on the stove,” Smith explained. “There was poop and pee everywhere. They cut all the cords to the security systems, they brought in new Wi-Fi. They were planning to sit there and move there.”
According to the police report on file, no one was arrested after authorities addressed the situation.
Last fall, a woman referred to as a “tenant from hell” by her landlord made headlines for allegedly staying in an L.A. guest house without paying rent for 575 days.
The renter had found the home through Airbnb, and according to the landlord, was supposed to stay for only six months.
She finally departed the Brentwood property, which features a pool, a rooftop tennis court and a fully equipped fitness center, in November.
