Gunshots could be heard ringing through the air outside a busy Philadelphia nightclub early Sunday morning, striking at least six people during a drive-by shooting.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. outside Trilogy nightclub on 6th and Spring Garden Streets in the Northern Liberties neighborhood.
There were at least 6 women who were injured in the drive-by and rushed to local hospitals. One of the women are in critical condition, while the other five are reported to be in stable condition.
Police said there may be more victims involved in the shooting.
Authorities claimed, “A man with a gunshot wound walked into Temple University Hospital around the time of the shooting, but was too intoxicated to remember where he was when the shooting started.”
Surveillance video showed another woman at a nearby gas station inside a car with a man covered in blood. The vehicle had New Jersey license plates.
“We are currently also checking New Jersey hospitals for victims with similar injuries,” authorities added.
Authorities did not immediately announce any arrests or release any suspect descriptions. No weapons were recovered at the scene.
“The crime scene is currently blocked off for investigation and we will further search for more victims to try and locate the suspects,” authorities concluded their statement.
